What happens after I buy?
Here's what to expect, step by step.
You complete your purchase and choose when to send the gift (now or a future date like a birthday or Mother's Day).
Your recipient gets a personalized email explaining the gift and how to get started. You can also print a gift card to hand them in person.
Their first story prompt arrives by email within a week. They reply with a story whenever they're ready.
Each week for up to a year, a new prompt arrives. They go at their own pace. There's no pressure to answer every one.
When they're ready to print (or when the year is up), we design the book and ship it. Free within the US.
What does the gift email look like?
Here's an example of the email your parent or grandparent will receive. It's warm, clear, and designed for someone who may not be expecting it.

You'll also get a confirmation email with your order details and a link to manage the gift anytime.
Giving in person instead?
You can delay the email and print a gift card to hand over at dinner, put in a birthday card, or tuck under the tree. The card has a unique code they redeem when they're ready.
